This timber stain is applied as a water based product, but when the water evaporates, linseed oil is released to be absorbed into the timber which provides a low gloss, stained finish and helps preserve the timber. The high opacity finish features excellent UV absorption and high durability and permanence - it will not rub off. Aquamax performs best on surfaces which have good absorbency, and is most suitable for houses, fences, gates, roof beams, trellis, pergolas and other timber surfaces.
